Terms of Service

Welcome to BullQuest. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and BullQuest ("BullQuest", "we", "us") and govern your use of the BullQuest game and services, whether you play on the web at bullquest.fun or in our mobile app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms. By using the Service you confirm you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

• You need a free account to play. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.
• One person, one account, unless we say otherwise. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (account menu, "Delete account"). See our Privacy Policy for what deletion removes.

3. GRIT and in-game items

GRIT is an in-game score you earn by playing. Bulls, stats, streaks, and other in-game items are part of the game. These are a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use inside the Service. They are not money, do not have a cash value, are not redeemable for cash from us, and are not your property. We may adjust, reset, or remove in-game balances and items as part of running and balancing the game, or to correct errors, bugs, or abuse.

4. Fair play and acceptable use

To keep BullQuest fun and fair for everyone, you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, scripts, or automation, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage.
• Interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or try to break or bypass the Service or its security.
• Choose a display name, bull name, or other content that is offensive, hateful, harassing, sexual, deceptive, impersonates someone, or infringes anyone's rights. We may change or remove such content and may suspend accounts that use it.
• Use the Service to break any law, or to harm, harass, or defraud other players.

You are responsible for content you submit (such as names you set). By submitting it, you grant us a license to host and display it as part of operating the Service.

5. Our content

The Service, including its art, characters, code, and branding, is owned by BullQuest or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own entertainment. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law.

6. Changes to the game

BullQuest is a live game. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features, content, events, and rules at any time, and we may update or discontinue the Service. We are not liable to you for any change to or discontinuation of the Service or any in-game item.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as the ones on in-game items, disclaimers, and liability) will survive.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure. You use the Service at your own risk, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BullQuest and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, in-game items, or profits, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months (which for the free app is zero) or ten US dollars.

10. Apple App Store terms

If you download the app from the Apple App Store, you also agree that: these Terms are between you and BullQuest, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app; Apple is not responsible for any product warranties or product or third-party claims relating to the app; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo or on a US prohibited-parties list.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to first try to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting us. If we cannot resolve it, the dispute will be handled by the courts with proper jurisdiction, and you and we agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as part of a class action, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
